About Me

Picture of Theresa

I design learning experiences that help people make sense of complex ideas and use what they’ve learned. I spent over 10 years teaching math before earning my master’s in Instructional Design and Technology and moving into corporate learning.

Today, I work as a Training and Instructional Design Manager in the hospitality industry. I collaborate with teams across the business to create facilitator guides, job aids, and training programs that support large-scale initiatives. I enjoy building materials that help team members feel confident and valued from day one. I care deeply about accessibility, equity, and learner-centered design. I also love finding creative ways to use technology to make learning more engaging and effective. Technology has always come quickly to me, so I’ve always been the go-to person for explaining the tricky stuff and helping peers take on tech.

In this portfolio, you’ll find a mix of graduate and professional projects that reflect how I approach design—with curiosity, clarity, and a focus on helping people succeed.
